Auria Solutions to Expand Albemarle Facility

Auria Solutions, one of the world’s largest suppliers of automotive flooring, acoustics and other fiber-based products, will be expanding its operations in Albemarle, NC and adding 18 jobs and $1.66 million in machinery and equipment within the next 12 months.

Business Facilities Magazine Names North Carolina “2020 State of the Year”

North Carolina is Business Facilities’ 2020 State of the Year, the first time NC has earned BF’s top honor, which has been bestowed annually by the magazine since 2007.

Nabell USA Moves Forward with Albemarle Expansion and Creation of New Jobs

Nabell USA, a manufacturer and distributor of Bellows and Protective Covers for medical, industrial and scientific applications opened its doors in Stanly County in 1998 and relocated to the city in 2009. Nabell will be expanding its operations in Albemarle, NC and plans to create 15 new jobs within the next 24 months and invest approximately $2.9 million at its existing facility.

Charlotte Pipe and Foundry Company Announces Foundry Relocation to Oakboro

Charlotte Pipe and Foundry, a trusted North Carolina-based manufacturer and distributor of plumbing systems since 1901, announced it would be relocating its foundry operations to Oakboro, North Carolina. As the nation’s top manufacturer of cast iron and plastic pipe and fittings, Charlotte Pipe and Foundry has seven plant locations across the United States and distributes worldwide. The company plans to create approximately 400 new jobs in Stanly County and invest at least $325 million at the new facility.

Fiberon to Expand in Stanly County

Fiberon today announced its plans to upgrade and expand its manufacturing operations and facility in New London, NC with a new investment of more than $20 million over the next three years. Fiberon, a leading manufacturer of composite and PVC decking and railing products used in homes and light commercial construction, established the benchmark for innovative, alternative outdoor living products. The company initially located in New London in 1997 and has continued to be a major employer in Stanly County.
